The web is filled with amazing creative people and their fun ideas! I thought I’d show you a few of my favorites I have found!
Do you have a drab set of doors?
Jenna LaFevor from rainonatinroof.com has a really fun solution for you. And you’ll really love her whole blog too! If black & white are too much contrast for you, you could certainly do this in a more subtle color combination.
My friend & colleague Roxanne at thehoneycombehome.com made her daughters plain mirrored closet doors beautiful-check them out here! In fact, In terms of design ideas, you will not find a better place to land than Roxanne’s site. She’s one of the most creative and talented people I know. Be sure to troll around all her amazing projects.
My favorite fun doors are the ones from the set of the sitcom Frasier. I remember seeing something years ago about how they were simply hollow core doors with some 1×4″ planks & then painted to look three dimensional. None of the pics I have found are great of the doors, but they are definitely on my bucket list:
Exiting the subject of doors now….wow. that was bad.
The wreath also would have a big impact on a wall for very little cash and effort! I noticed in my favorite “antique” shop that they have some old music books, could be pretty with yellowed sheet music!
My fridge is not magnetic, but I do have a magnetic chalkboard in our kitchen & this could be adorable for birthday and holiday messages! In fat, I have added magnetic letters to my shopping list for the day and hope to have a fun pic for you in a future post of this fun and simple idea!
These two are both from diyandmag.com are super simple, so much so that I am embarrassed I have not done either yet!
