The 100 Day Project is still in full swing, but today I was far more in my comfort zone. I made a vintage book page wreath. I am really happy with the result and enjoyed the craftiness of making it. If you’re up for a simple project, this one is quite do-able, so
I started with a vintage book I bought for $5, a circle of cardboard I cut from an amazon box, some tape and some elders glue. I would have preferred my glue gun, but I searched everywhere and couldn’t find it.
I rolled what seemed like a thousand pages from the vintage book, taped them once I had the cone situated with a nice point at the top. Then I began gluing them to the cardboard. The second and third layers were glued to the previous cones. I’m thinking vintage sheet music would be beautiful if you have a space with a piano, or a music room of any sort. I’d love to see pictures if you try this project!
Tomorrow will be my first art lesson, which I am hoping will really help me through this 100 day project! Keep your fingers crossed for me! Have a beautiful day! ~Alyson
