Are you as addicted to Pinterest as I am? I never want to know how many hours I have “wasted” trolling those pages! I do use Pinterest for work as well…so that’s my excuse…and I’m sticking to it!
Last week I came across a sweet opportunity for craftiness. A little bowl painted cream on the outside and gold on the inside. It would be great on a bedside table to keep your jewelry, change, or whatever. You can find it at lezoemusings.com:
Adorable, right? Shout out to Kellie Van, who created this project. So I went over to my favorite neighborhood “antique” store and bought a few wooden bowls for $3 each, bought some gold and silver spray paint, and set to painting!
I sprayed 2 gold on the inside, and the third one silver. I wanted to see if I liked it in silver for my new guest room. I was not a fan. See pictures below:
Once they were dry, I repainted the silver one gold, and began painting the outsides with the cream colored Annie Sloan paint. It took 3 coats, but I am really happy with the result!
