So, I don’t have a completed room for you today, but I’ve made good progress. My living room is nearly complete with a second coat of Benjamin Moore Shaker Beige HC-45. It had been so long since the room had been painted that the wall patching took far longer than I had anticipated. I also am one that fills all holes from any wall decor as well. Even if I hang the same thing (which I rarely do when I am changing up a room), I like to start with a clean slate and hang everything on a nice clean smooth newly painted wall.
Speaking of wall decor, since I already know I am hanging the Moroccan art my daughter gifted us over the mantle, I wanted to change up the rest of the room as well. I am thinking I will reduce the family photos that were on the walls before painting by scanning them and creating a coffee table book at Snapfish.com. I will then relocate some more modern looking art into the room from elsewhere int he house. The fun in that is that when I remove the art from another room, it creates another opportunity for a change in that room!
I will report back in on Monday hopefully with some fun finished project photos! Have a fantastic weekend and a beautiful day! ~Alyson
