Today won’t be overly wordy as I feel the photos my friend and amazing photographer Mark took say it all!
The stripes on the wall and the bed are from a previous room re-do. Fun fact: the bed was my mom’s growing up! Another fun fact: my husband thought the stripes on the wall were new! LOL.
I found these night stands at my favorite local shop (2 for $75!!). The lamps you’ll recognize from a previous post-they are sprayed with Rust-Oleum Flat Black Spray paint, which is one of my favorites, I love the sheen it gives, not overly shiny abut not actually flat (despite the name)! The photo collage was useful in clearing some frames off desk/bureau surfaces that looked cluttered. I prefer a simple collage instead. The curtain panels are some of my favorites and were an absolute steal from Brylane Home. I painted out the dresser and desk in flat black.
I’m thrilled at how the desk turned out. It was a mere $50 on one of the FaceBook markets, and the knobs are handmade by a fun Easy shop! The mirror was left in the attic of our previous home when we purchased it. It was a very bright & shiny gold-I think black really suits it and certainly rounds out the new vanity well!
The bench that I showed you in a previous post looks very happy in it’s new home!
And… the master plan worked! Oh! Have I shared that yet? My goal was to be able to convince my other daughter to allow me to re-do her room. We completed this in time for her last visit and got the go-ahead! So be looking for that project in the near future!
Have a beautiful day! ~Alyson
